The above locations are correct.

The Crusaders are all laying on the ground inside small stone buildings.

Use the bandage on them.

Escort them back to the camp. (They walk slow)

The Crusaders follow you back to the camp, so it's possible to avoid all mobs should you want to.

I recommend mounting up. You've only got three minutes and if you walk it, you may not make it. Your escorts will lag way behind you, but they'll catch up. You might also want to clear the way a bit. Especially if you're not a DPS class, being forced to fight a ghoul along the way can be the difference between success and failure.

I just rode back as quick as I could with an epic mount and crusader aura. Even though I ran too far away to keep the crusaders targetted, they still caught up without resetting.

You can take each of them one at a time if you're worried about the time. Just mount up after bandaging the guy and they'll eventually catch up.

As a matter of fact, you can't go and get all 3 and then head back, since they die before you have the time(Item has a 2 min cooldown!

Indeed. Just make a direct run towards the turn in person and then wait. They'll eventually show up on their own and you'll get credit.

I had a problem with this quest. Last Crusader in trouble, the gnome fellar (Lamoof) just wouldn't get help once escorted. I had the rare pleasure of interacting with a GM that didn't resort to the tired rehashed blaming the addons or asking me to drop the quest and do it again.

We found that the problem was pathing. To get them registered, they have to pass through the DOORWAY. If the Crusader passes through Captain Rupert, you are good.

Quick way to do it:

Step 1: Bandage one of them.
Step 2: Ride back to the camp, don't worry about them. They will follow you from any distance so just wait for them they will eventually get to you.
Step 3: Repeat the same with the other two.

yep just like above said, all you need to do is to bandage the wounded and mount up, run to the camp where you got the quest, they will eventually come to the camp. no matter what hits them. dont try to bother the mobs on the way, they are not able to kill your follower. gluck with escorting =D

If you're level 77 or higher, you can feel free to fly. Your escort will not aggro enemies; just hover above the ground and lead them to safety.

Coords were a little off for Lamoof when I did this, but most likely because my coords round to the next highest/lowest number. I found him at 53,74 not 53, 75 if that helps. =)

Ghoul disguise works with this quest. Put the disguise on and just run around rescuing, you won't be bothered.

Something not mentioned: Each crusader has a time limit before they "die of blood loss". It's 3 minutes for each one except for Lamoof the gnome (his is 2 minutes...figures, he's a gnome, he doesn't have that much blood to lose lol, fortunately he's closer than the others). I didn't let them die, but I assume that either:

A. the quest fails and you just restart it...

or B. They die and you have to walk back and re-apply the bandage.

Escorting them as far as Captain Rupert should be far enough to register as "saved".

The time limit is actually 3:00 for Johnson, 2:30 for Josephine, and 1:30 for Lamoof. Not that any of the time limits should come into play.

If you delete the Crusader's Bandage before finishing the quest you will have to abandon and redo the quest. Dr. Rogers does not pass out more bandages.

If you have the Ensorceled Choker, you can easily complete this quest by disguising as Scourge during the escort. The crusader will not aggro anything as you walk them back.

Note to the crazy tailors who use flying carpets! For once our crappy vehicle mount is useful as the Crusaders will be dragged along with you as when you mount up making the escort only take seconds rather than waiting for them.

Qh( quest helper) doesnt help with this quest. Just a note, they are not where it says. Where it says they are is where u bring them. Do not use/trust qh on this quest.

It is no longer true that the NPCs don't aggro the mobs. Both the gnome and NE aggroed zombies when I did this quest today. Even worse, Josephine just up and died for no reason while I was taking her back. She said, "Oh! I cannot go on any more!" and died.

Apparently there is now a three minute timer on getting the NPC's back to the base. If you don't make it back in 3 minutes, they die.

You are able to go back and re-bandage the NPC's if they die on you.

I think I spot a Gears of War reference here, Lamoof said "A little help here," when I talked to him before bandaging him which is commonly said when someone is downed (dying but can be revived by a team mate.) And now Jonathan just said "Boom! That's the last thing I remember...," which the boomer enemies always say boom before firing their rocket launchers.

One thing that I didn't realize for a while, was that you don't have to rescue all three in one step. You can get one, walk him/her back to the questgiver, then go back to get the next.

Not sure if this is a bug or what. I noticed while escorting these guys back that if you alt-tab in and out of the game they will be right next to you. Useful if they are being attack or are falling behind (they walk kind of slow).

In my humble opinion, this quest is by far the dumbest one I have come across in WoW.

There are a good 5 things you have to keep in mind that the quest doesn't tell you about, it doesn't complete half the time, and is in no way useful to the lore. It's kind of like gorging your own eyes out with a tooth pick.

I do not recommend doing this quest, unless the afore mentioned act sounds enjoyable.

Of course it is obvious to go to Dr. Roberts. However, since it is possible to go DIRECTLY to Dr. Robert's through the hole in wall near the good Doctor and bypass the Captain this is a very helpful thread. :-)

To be precise, you're unable to rescue all 3 in one go. Bandage has 2 min CD, and they are dying in 3 min.
Absolutely impossible to bandage 3 times without letting first one to die.

They can aggro, but they never stop to fight on their own so it effectively doesn't matter. As long as they can path to you they will get there.

This can be done in 2 runs even with the 2 minute CD on the bandage. Do Josephine first by herself. After she is escorted to safety, you can use the bandage on Johnson, then run to Lamoof with johnson in tow. As soon as the CD is done, use the bandage on Lamoof and run straight back to Dr. Rogers. I made it with about 8 seconds to spare on Johnson. I'm not sure if you can use a mount as i didn't even try.

You can indeed use your mount, but they will only run as fast as foot speed, I almost lost Lamoof by hopping on my mount and taking off.

Fairly easy if you can fly, I did this when I lvled 77 and you just fly to the locations, use the bandage on the NPCs and fly back to the camp. They follow anyways and you get credit.

The gnome p!ssed me off.

Walk in the front door of the building where the doctor/questgiver is and not over the rubble pile that opens directly to his room otherwise the npc can stand right on the doctor and you still wont get credit and it will die. You want to walk in the doorway that Captain Rupert is behind.

Not sure, but could be a Black Hawk Down reference. One of the songs of the soundtrack was "Leave no Man Behind". That was something that the general was also emphasizing for most of the movie.

Very easy. As hunter, i keep running forward, the npc keeps follow me and he don't attack mobs. You can send your pet to pull off the mobs. No worries, too easy run. Enough time, if you know where you must walk :)

It's funny how these guys are bleeding profusely, yet running around like maniacs back to the Argent camp...

When you have a quest helper/manager add-on, make sure you set this quest to top priority or the arrow/mini-map "tom-tom's" will be steering you to your next quest and whatnot.
For further reference, It's not particularly helpful to do you next quest if you have a 3 minute timer on your current

For those of you who want to get this quest done quickly and without fighting any mobs, you can just mount up and run/fly to the base camp in Drak'sotra. Unlike escort quests, you will not fail if you get too far ahead, and the mobs will just run to wherever you are. Be careful though because they can get stuck; while I was escorting the female NE, she decided that she did not like climbing stairs and just froze and died.

they're inside the buildings
don't try to take more than one at the time, they die fast
ressurect them then mount then run to your questgiver and wait for them to arrive,
1 by 1

Heres a guide on how i petted one of the crusaders, basically i went to get crusader Johnson, i got him and he got stuck in the building so i decided to get him again, the timer on the bandage was quicker than how fast he died, so i got him a second time and had 2 following me round, then the first one died, and for some reason got rid of the second Johnson's timer and he was following me round everywhere without dieing, not sure if it will work with everyone maybe i just got lucky, was funny at the time though. Also you can just use the scourge disguise to run through all the mobs, the crusaders dont aggro them

The first two (Lamoof and Johnson) were no problem. After the bandage I flew back and they reported very quickly. But Josephine did not show up at all. After flying to captain Rupert or Dr. Rogers there were more then 2 minutes left for her to show up. But she never came.

make sure they cross the "front door" threshold. if they come in from the side you will not get credt.

Kill the few around the entrance before you use the bandage on the soldier. Try to navigate around the mob but if you get attacked, just keep running. Shield yourself if you can and just run.

THIS QUEST SUCKS !
the best thing to do is learn the rout from the rescue point to the return point, then clear the rout, then make the rescue, Why all this?, because there is a time limit on each rescue and you have to protect them and they follow you SLOW.

Don't bother escorting them. Once they're revived, hop on your mount and bee-line back to the turn-in NPC. They'll catch up a few seconds after you get there.

Just a tip...if you have your cold weather flying by this point, as soon as you heal them, just mount up and fly back. They'll come running along in a minute...makes it really easy.
