Solo'd these guys easily with 36 Rogue, took me to 37 even. They are spaced far enough apart so you only have to fight one at a time. There's some centaur necromancers walking around that can be a pain sometimes if you don't get your stuns going before they pull up a pet.

If you are a caster, be careful as they Kick (as the rogue ability) occasionally when in melee range, interrupting your spell and triggering a cooldown.

these bastards are good for farming silk. when I did the quest I'd say roughly more than half of them dropped 3x silk cloth.

the kick ability on these bastards is godawful annoying. it's not at all on a timer, or so it seems: every time my mind blast would come off the forced cooldown, the bastard would kick it. trying to solo these guys on even a same-level shadow priest without any water to regen is not recommended.

just solo'd as lvl 34 paly for scarlet quest nothing fancy just the usual hit and sometimes 20 dmg from the kick

These Guys have a very slow spawn time of about 6 minutes 53 secs.

They are objective of Down the Scarlet Path. Quest can be done starting from 34 lvl, but skeletons are verry hard to kill on this level. It was possible playing prot specced pally. Hits for 35-40dmg (60 crits) on ~1900 armor.

However - this is worth trying, if u can't solo it try get some help from friends because the rewards from this chain are extremly nice.

There's a distinctive audio cue that accompanies their kick. Best to cast immediately after hearing it and rely on DOT and melee attacks while waiting for it.

These are seriously the most annoying mob as a shadow priest I have faced to date. Thier shadow resist is high, and the kicks happen at the most in-opportune times. However, there is a quick way to get around it.

Even as a shadow priest, we have holy fire and smite at this level (shadowform is about 3 levels up from these mobs). Simply use Holy fire to pull, and smite the rest of the time until holy fire is ready again.

The trick to avoid the kicks is to use your shield. They time their kicks with your spells (it's not random, they do it to actually disrupt you, like a player would). If you cast PW:S, they will kick immediately afterward. After they kick, proceed to smite/holy fire to death.

Another thing about these guys is they seem to attack much faster than other mobs. Other mobs seem to attack every 2 seconds or so but these guys were attacking every second for the same damage (~50 per on cloth). Spells between 1.5 and 2 sec will be extended 0.5 sec and spells beyond 2 sec will be extended 1 second because they attack so fast.

As a warlock, I can tell that using Curse of the Elements really made a big difference in killing these guys. It also helped my Voidwalker to get his Torments off.

The Necromancers spawn these bastards in combat.

So before you think you can solo the L40 necros... dont.

They are located to the west of Magram village, also: coordinates 59,89 or 64,81.

For those undeads u need heavy fire or holy dmg. I got now the Q from Brother Anton for 30 of them and shadow dmg is not working, i'm a lock. At lvl 34 i got almost no problems but pull alot of aggro from the VW because of the immolation and Searing pain which are the only useful spells that work on them. So be careful how u approach them. And their kick is pretty &*!@d for casters... 2 sec silence on that school of spells that was interrupted by the kick.

Pally AoE grinding in this area at lvls 38-40 is quite literally amazing. Prot spec you can gain about 7 bars/hour. Grinding 4 at a time seems to be about ideal, otherwise they tend to leash and or get behind you =/

Sorry, but coords really help me. If you have no coords, get them. It makes things like this pinpoint. I got coords because everyone gives coords in game too.

Does anybody know where these looting statistics come from, and if these are updated with the new patches?
What I looted here is not on the list and Nether Sorceresses in the neighbourhood did not drop me any interesting things that was on their loot list.

These guys were really easy to take down with my L39 Rogue. I barely took any damage and dispached them quickly. They don't run away to get their friends either. I've died more times with Murlocs.

Really really easy as a 37 mage. Poly, fireball, fireblast, frost nova, depending on health fireball again or fireblast. Hardly get touched.

just go as much east as u can on the road... and then down at the hill in the end... to the west.. and straight down, there is 36-38 mobs around the area, then just right in cant miss it 63.76 cords

Also they can silence you for 3 secs so make sure you have a good wand

I solod these as a lvl 34 priest. They were all lvl 37-38 for me; so defenitely doable but very time consuming. But I wanted the quests before entering SM so I still did them at this relatively low level.

you have to go behind the centaur Village. The undead are in a canyon in the mountains. Go around the lake in the village and you will find the break in the rocks.

One of the Undead Ravagers dropped a . It is a Necklace that adds 2 health every 5 seconds. Right at 65,89

These guys are hard for casters. They have a high resist rate, and they perform kick, which interrupts your casting and causes a global cooldown of a few seconds on all spells from that school of magic. My 37 priest had a tough time with them.

Solo'ed as a 34 ret pally in greens. A couple tips;

- try to focus on the lvl 37s rather than the 38s (the 38s are doable but a lot more mana intensive and tend to resist/parry way more)

- use Seal of Righteousness instead of Seal of Command, as SoR will give you more consistent damage vs the frequent parry/miss of the SoC procs

- be wary of the lvl 40 centaur pats that walk down the path
