Classic WoW World First Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros
The legendary weapon Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros has been created by Kembria of the guild Senseless on Firemaw-EU, believed to be the world first for Classic WoW.
Update: Apparently LongDD of the Chinese guild Old Boys, made up Dota 2 veterans,
created the weapon
even earlier on September 17th, three days after looting the eye.

Free Level 110 Boost and BFA Expansion for Level 60 Players in Classic
The Brazilian World of Warcraft Facebook page has confirmed that players who reach level 60 in WoW Classic will receive the Battle for Azeroth expansion and a free level 110 boost!
EDIT (5:30PM PDT): It looks like the promotion post was deleted from World of Warcraft Brazil's Facebook page.

Mount Equipment Coming in Patch 8.2
Mount Equipment is a new feature coming in patch 8.2, allowing players to customize their mounts with one of four different special bonuses. While a commonly requested feature over the years, it comes along with the unfortunate side effect of removing of water walking from the frequently used Water Strider mounts, in order to reduce dependency on them.
