If this was a toy they added to retail WoW, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Doesn't buy stuff? Bubsy-tier jokes in annoyance and frequency? Interferes with clicking the lure? WHO CARES? It's a toy that summons a fishing buddy! A WALRUS fishing buddy! This is legit the only preorder bonus I have seen in nearly a decade that I actually cared about, was excited for, and genuinely thought was worth pre-ordering a game for despite being burned on preorders so many times... but it's tied to a version of the game that I am content to let live fondly in my memory.

Me am sad now.

Hello there, i have a question since ive never bought a boost and i'm deeply interested in this toy.

IF i buy the boost, which character gets this toy? all of my characters? or only the one i boost?, since i would like this toy in other character that i wont boost. Does anyone can help?

Surprised nobody has commented on this. Other than selling your lures, the Fishspeaker NPC interacts with you when you're fishing by telling you various dad-jokes. Since no one has made a compilation, here's one I collected:

The missus loves my mustache. Sometimes when I come home after a long day fishing, we hug cheek to cheek and I whisk-er away!
My father once started telling me a story about swimming to the bottom of the ocean to get the tip of his fishing spear that had fallen off. But we got interrupted, so he never got to the point.
My cousin Victor married a fishmonger named Kris, but they never had any kids. Makes sense. Kris cross Victor doesn't work - you can't cross a Victor and a scaler.
My cousin tried to get me in to boat racing once. We all know it's just a big shell game.
I knew a Tuskarr elder once who said his fishing gear would talk to him! In the end, he did so many crazy things to village politics he lost all his friends. Just goes to show - in politics never trust the polls.
When you're fishing, never try to share a spot with a crab. They are so shellfish!
One time I worked on a fishing boat, and the captain insisted on painting a fish on the side of all the fishermen's right tusks. Called it 'tooth-factor authentication'.
Have you tried getting in Naxxramas? I hear it's expensive. There's a fee line right at the door!
One time an orc came through here holding a work order for fifteen Dragonfin Anglefish! I told him they were a-cute catch, but you could only catch the right ones, because most were too obtuse to bite.
I've tried lots of different baits. Corn. Worms. In the end my buddy and I had a head to head competition with two kinds of seed pods. It was pea v pea.
Murlocs sometimes make great fishermen, but they always want to save the eyes and bones and fins. They don't work for scale; they want residuals.
Someday I'm gonna own a restaurant and hire murlocs as servers. I'll remind the customers you have to tip the scales!
