Soloed as a pre-made frost DK. I used Army of the Dead a healing potion and all tanking abilities from the ice tree.
It was a tough one, I only had like 2000-ish health when she died.

She uses Howling Blast and Hugering Cold mid-fight, and hits plate for 1600-1800.

Solo'ed at level 80 as a Frost Mage shortly after hitting 80 in mostly Heroic and 10-man Nax gear.

Fairly hard, since spawn it limited. It helps a ton if you have the IV Glyph and your PvP Trinket, since you have to remove her Chains of Ice. Also if you feel like cheesing it you can force a pathing bug on her by juking across the little lip of the nearby walkway.

I'd also highly recommend the fallowing for all three riders...

OK, that was a little odd but she used absolutely no abilities when I fought her o.O

Hit for between 1100-1500 on 61.65% reduction plate. I landed directly infront of her & hit her. Her (elite) horse was standing behind me but didn't get involved at any point.

So it just turned into a straight tank vs. tank slugfest, which was a pretty easy win.

To do the 3 "boss" quests, members of your party have to all either be on the quest or have done the quests. This is a new feature blizzard put in where anyone not up to or past the quest chain will phase out of the area. So before you get a group together, make sure they are all on this quest or have done it in the past, otherwise you are gonna be in a situation where they cant see you or help you.

By far the easiest one of the three. The only thing she does is cast Hungering Cold (CCs you in a block of ice), for a very short period. I just tanked her in Frost Pressence with a Ghoul out, and kept Death Striking.

Soloed as retri in prot gear 20k health and 520 def at that moment. Here is some tips for encounter:

- Use Seal of Wisdom and Judgement of Wisdom.

- Keep Sacred Shield on and spam flash of light to keep your hp higher than Sapph.

- Use Divine Protection in about 80% of Sapph's health.

- Use potions and elixirs (which I didn't have at that moment)

- DON'T use dmg skills than Judgement, because they cost mana which you need a lot in this encounter

- Use Blessing of protection or Divine shield in tight situlation (Don't worry about cd, this battle took 12min for me)

- Greater Blessing of Wisdom is really good buff for this fight because of it's lenght and used aura should be Devotion Aura.

- If you run to very low mana and health use your LoH, buut if ya are skilled as me (/flex) you won't be needing it :P

And there was something else that I don't remember, I'm just glad I made it.

Enhancement shaman, very easy solo. Finished full health full mana at end of fight. Strength of earth, windfurry and healing stream totem down. Started the fight and used Shamanistic Rage and Feril Spirit. Very very easy for those that this will apply.

The ending of the quest is a little sad, he seems genuinely dissapointed that he had to have you kill her, going as far as expressing a bit of affection, but recognizes it was necessary.

It just struck me as odd because you very rarely see Death Knights display emotion and Undead even less so (other than anger of course).

Solod as Feral druid tank gear and talents. started in cat to get bleeds going 3 combo rip and rake then bear pop berserk and melt her face.

very easy kept up demo and FF Feral regen at 50%... WIN!

Killed him solo as enhancement. in half epic half blues and no enhancement glyphs.

Very easy fight, simply nuke hard, use dogs and use MW for healing and not damage. She will never get you low. After dogs die she should be low, if not get a hp pot ready.

Soloed as a resto druid. Just roll lifebloom and rejuv, and throw regrowth when necessary, and wrath/mf in between casts.

Had to pop a mana potion when he was down to about 3% health, but that's it.

Soloed as a Protection Warrior, very easy fight (Naxx 10 geared)

Didn't need any cooldowns (Shield Wall / Last Stand) or even Enraged Regeneration.

Ended with about 13k/28k hp.

Soloed as a 79 Holy pally. She hits pretty good and straight forward melee. Simple hit and heal.

No special gear. final battle was ended at 5k mana and 14/14k health

Solo as demonology Warlock.
Let the Felguard tank and heal with Health Funnel.
Dot Sapph with Curse of Agony or Corruption and mind your aggro!

Just be patient and don't start Shadowbolting him unless you know for sure you are gonna win.

Solo'd as a demonlogy warlock. Applied some DoTs and Curse of weakness now and then but mostly Health Funneled. Patience is the key ^^

EDIT: I used the voidwalker and i used Demonic Empowerment as often as i could to not over-aggro.

for all of these you should go get whatever fatal runes you need because they all stack. solo'd as fury war in hatefull gear with the crit/2% health rune, 5% dmg increase and 5% dmg reduce with no potions. did use enraged regen and had about 3k health left at the end.

Has she been nerfed or is she buggy? She didn't do anything at all except for auto attack. Easy that way as an Elemental Shaman.

Soloed as a UH Tank specced deathknight in naxx 10/25 gear, used death strike twice and ended up with around 80% HP. Used no cooldowns either. She simply autoattacked me the entire time as stated by Zarkath! Very easy overall I'm sure most players could solo this with little to no trouble.

I've soloed her as a feral druid with quest reward blue tanking gear (plus Trollwoven Spaulders and Girdle). I've used a healing potion and a Frenzied Regeneration, but no Berserk, Survival instincts or Fate Rune... I only had 1100 hp at the end, but I survived and she didn't :D

Solo'd as an 80 prot warrior in full naxx gear, very easy, all she did was auto attack for 1200-1400 a hit. Just debuff her and DPS her down, easy.

The reason why she's doing nothin but autoswings is simply because you do her solo.
I had the same boring fight when taking her alone. But the other day i helped someone doing this questchains (not that he needed help...) and as we fought her she suprisingly used Hungering Cold and Howling Blasts. So you can say she is a wee tiny bit "harder" when fighting her as a group.

I soloed this on my Combat Rogue with 10 and 25man naxx gear.

She is not stunnable. I ended up evasion tanking her and popping all of my dps cooldowns. She used no abilities and her horse did not aggro. She was hitting me on average for 3k.

Very Soloable as a Warlock Demo.

1. Begin the fight w/pet and cast Curse of Weakness.
2. Stay on top of your pet's health. (Though I didn't have as much trouble with that as I did with The Rider of Blood.)
3. Because I didn't have to continually keep Health Funnel up I had time to cast more SBs and Drain Life.
4. I found that standing near her horse while the Felguard/Voidwalker tanked her where she was, worked perfectly.

And everyone seems to be in another phasing-thing than me, so I can't find anyone to do it with. :(

Soloed as Demo / Affl Lock, Very easy boss, just send the voidy in, COA, CORR, Drain life, and Health Funnel to top your pet up, takes about 3 mins or so.

ya another prime example of why i love demonology lol. Sent in the felguard agony, corrup, immolate, cast a shadow bolt. used health funnel and rinse and repeated. at 30% for giggles i popped into demon form, charged in with immolation aura and she dropped fast

solo'd easily as 80 holydin with 2/5 val and some random 25m gear. she doesn't hit very hard, and with concentration aura up i had no problem self healing.

Worst solo I've ever done as a deep destro lock in full hateful/deadly PvP gear (app. 22k HP), but it is doable!

I tried tanking her resulting only in death. The next time I let VW tank and build up aggro, essencially ending up in a 5-minute match with me keeping CoA and Immo on and healing my VW all the time. Couldn't cast anything else not to overaggro.

Tried the blood rider after this one, not a chance. Got him only to about 50% with having >100% threat over my VW all the time.

No guildies to help me, phasing sucks :(

Solo'd as an 80 Mage, Frostfire spec in T7 epics. I used cooldowns and gems, started the fight near her horse let her come to me then popped images and blinked to the far end of the platform where she stands. Bounced her back and forth with the images using Mana Shield to absorb some of her damage.

Not really hard as an 80 boomkin with 25 naxx gear. swarm and moonfire up all the time, hit with wrath till you're down to about 8k hp. heal with rejuve+lifebloom, rinse and repeat. barkskin is damn useful, but sadly can only be used once, use it well.

I was able to "duo" this as a disc priest with a shadow priest helping me (i'm alliance, he is horde). We both needed the 3 guys for this quest line killed. This chick died without a fuss.

Solo as affliction lock, just takes time

VW in tank away and watch your aggro. Omen is a key addon no lock should be without it. Curse of weakness and haunt. I tossed in a few corruptions but got the Omen alarm everytime I did, getting close to pulling aggro. Without corruption the fight just takes a while.

As stated above stand near the horse, it just stands there and wont attack you and seems to be a good position to stay out of the frost chains she tosses out at you.

Solo as level 80 SV hunter with as pet a Gorilla with a somewhat tank-ish talent build. Popped all cds and had to drink a health pot as well as bandage once, but defo do-able.

Just solod this as a destro lock in pvp spec with soul link. In all my pve gear (25uld/25toc gear tho hehe). Used 1 health stone. Survived with about 20% health after she was dead. Just do what we do best as destro and nuke the fark outa her lol and use health stone/health pot if/when needed. Oh I had fel armor up too.

Edit: I had Demon Armor up sorry, not fel armor.

Soloed on the first try as a level 80 Protection Warrior in a mix of blues and ToC 5 man epics.

Pull the horse away solo and burn it down, it's not that much of a challenge. Shield Slam will dispel it's stacking buff making it much easier to handle.

As for the rider, I only used Enraged Regeneration; no Shield Wall or Last Stand and no health potions. She's very easy and does not hit very hard. Just keep Thunderclap and Demo Shout up, pop Shield Block when it's available and you should have no troubles with her.

Just barely managed to solo as a mutilate raid spec'd rogue. I had to use a health pot and Battlemaster's Rage (+256 AP and Use: Increases health by 4608 for 15 sec). Something to note is that you cannot stun her but you CAN dismantle which reduces her damage by a lot.
I popped all of my CD's and survived with about 115 health.

My gear was decent - Buffed i had 4.1k AP and 38.8% crit chance, using Sinter Revenge and Daschal's Bite.

But it IS possible to do as a rogue.

To clear things up, the questline needed to get rider quests: Vereth the Cunning, after this line he gives 3 simple quests to do (bomb abominations, throw rocks, kill gargoyles), then 3 rider quests become available. These are really hard quests that require a good gear or a party.

One thing to consider, that you must ask people before inviting if they have these quests, because if they have done it already or didn't get them they won't see you and riders, their location has phased. (Phasing)

Very easy as a Protection Paladin...I went to the edge of the cliff..taunted the horse, killed it..then taunted her...very easy..used Avenging Wrath twice and Divine plea all the time, lots of stuns.
61% Dmg reduction

Same here as a Destro Lock ... VW, dots with health funnel .... she used no abilities though I got a bit carried away and had to shatter once. FInsished on full health and it didnt take long.... easy

Extraordinarily easy as a Cat druid in Bear form (in cat gear). All you gotta do is just stand there an eat her face :P Just kept Demoralizing Roar and Lacerate 5 stack up, while mangling and mauling her face. She did nothing but auto-attack and i never went below 90% hp.

Killed Sapph as a 80 Holy Paladin in PvP healing Furious/Relentless gear; quest jewellry/trinkets (4000 GS).

She has around 126,000 HP. Her horse Icyfury has 64,000 HP.

Solo she was a very easy kill. Her hits though were harder than Rokir (1.7k compared to 1.5k on average on this plate). But health never got below 19k. Just kept SS+FoL up and FoL here and there to keep the health topped (a habit).

Only thing there near her is her horse. Any guards up front won't aggro when you start the fight. She doesn't knock back or do anything special but hit with her weapon. Nothing to dispel. Very much a tank and spank fight.

Just fly down on the platform she's standing on and engage her. About a 4 minute fight.

She almost sounds peaceful about meeting her end. Quite a change from Baelok (the rider of Blood) who yells things like "Don't stop now. I've almost broken a sweat" and "I will... be back... for you..."

Simple fight, holy pally (quest blues/AH, rep purples). Her horse never even moved, so I never had to fight it. Just fly in, drop next to her, engage her. Keep healed up, spam all damaging spells, and she'll fall.

I can heal all day, but my dps is pathetic, so this was a long fight, but I never went below 50% health. Easiest of the three.

I just found out which quest unlocks these, it's the chain quest beginning with:
Parting Gifts
An Undead's best friend
From Whence They Came
Honor is for the weak

When you complete those, you get two more quests:
Seeds of Chaos
and
Amidst the Confusion, which is the one that unlocks Vereth The Cunning which begins the chain quest for the three Riders.

Description

Sapph... Sapph's a death knight like no other. She'll shower you with sweet words and you'll swear that she has no evil within her heart, and then she'll run you through without even breaking her smile.

I have no fear that you'll be able to best Sapph, but do not grow overconfident. Her strength lies in lulling her victims into a false ease, shortly before shattering them with a fierce barrage of frost attacks.

Do not let your guard down, and do not underestimate her.
