Don't waste your time dieing, running to Everlook as a ghost and spirit ressing. It shoots you back to Healer that was closest to where you died. Sad stuff.

It seems that ones ability to spirit-run to a location and use spirit healer to resurrect is patchy. As a lvl 10 BE pally, i was able to run from silvermoon to eastern plaguelands and resurrect at lights hope chapel....then when i ran on to brill....it took me back to lights hope chapel......

ATM i am a lvl 10 stranded in eastern plaguelands...and not exceptionally happy

If you die and rez at a different graveyard then where you were orginally sent, you will appear at the graveyard you were originally sent to when you died

Has anyone noticed the Spirit Healer on top of the mountain near Crossroads? The sub-zone is listed as the 'Shrine of the Fallen Hero' and the healer appears even while alive and appears to be uninteractable, though I haven't tried while dead. Anyone know what's up? Is that just a random NPC?

The Fallen Hero is maybe the body of the questgiver in the entrance to the Blasted Lands through Swamp of Sorrows. Could be wrong.

This is an incident after Patch 2.4.2
I was in Orgrimmar,on the bridge near The Skytower, and all of a sudden everyone else on the screen started falling including myself!
We died, some of us got summoned to somewhere near (70.5 10.6) of The Hinterlands, 10,000 feet up the air with a Spirit Healer and a bench.
And we keep falling until a point we got summoned up near the Spirit Healer again, and repeat.
I appeared in Durotar soon as I re-logged.
It was probably a bug but I wonder if the Spirit Healer is still there

yea she's kinda hot

If your level 1 you get the sickness for 1 min, level 2, 2 min and so on but level10 and above it stays for 10 min..can get pretty annoying since GY can usually be on the other side of the map from your body :(

This is what the spirit healer says when you talk to it:

"If you find your corpse, you can resurrect for no penalty. If I resurrect you, all of your items will take 25% durability damage and you will be afflicted by resurrection sickness for 10 minutes."

Anyone else notice that when they check the damage that they took to their items its more like 75%? This happens to me all the time. Please reply if this has happened to you.

Resurrecting using a spirit healer will incur a 25% durability loss to all gear, whether equipped or in the inventory. This is on top of the 10% loss which might have resulted from death.

Upon death, your ghost will be transported to the nearest graveyard in the same zone.*

One exception to the above: Dying in or near an enemy city. It seems that the graveyard closest to a major city is not available to members of the opposite faction. An Alliance character dying in Orgrimmar would be sent to Razor Hill; a Horde character dying in Stormwind would be sent to Eastvale Logging Camp.

*I'm not sure about the exact algorithm Blizzard uses to determine this, be it shortest direct distance or predefined area. Can someone verify?

Actually, your spirit can only fly in Storm Peaks, Crystalsong Forest (except for Dalaran) and Icecrown (none require flying skill or level requirements).

One of the things that bugs me most is, when you accidently fall somewhere and can't get to your corpse or to the spirit healer, you'll have to use the "character stuck" option. I just hope Blizzard will soon give me an opportunity to go back to the spirit healer at any time when in spirit form.

i died in teldrassil just after getting the explore achievement and got on the boat back to darkshore and after that boat to azuremyst and ressed at spirit healer there without relogging :)

Dying in areas ONLY accessible by flying in BC expansion areas does not give you ghost form. Instead the spirit healer will be replaced by an automatic resurection at certain points on the map. (Dying in an instance near Tempest Keep, or on the Netherwing Ledge are examples)

The flying spirit option is only for WotLK and Cataclysm areas. (Anh'qiraj is an exception, you may fly as a ghost once you pass through the Scarab Gate because the raid entrances are in the new 'Anh'qiraj' zone)

Dying on top of a mushroom in Zangarmarsh is not fun. Got killed by a warlock and had to find my way back to the Spirit Healer and ask her to revive me for Ressurection Sickness.

Not sure exactly what patch but I think it'd be 3.3 but until you get to level 10 ressurecting at the Spirit Healer gives you no debuff or armor durability lost. I think it's 3.3 because that's when getting 1 - 10 became a million times easier. If you know the patch tell me.

I wish Blizzard would give you a new option with the Spirit Healer if you died in an instance: She (it?) teleports you directly to the instance portal.

It'd be really nice after they added the Random Dungeon feature; since it teleports you directly into the dungeon, there's no need to go through anything to get inside... unless your group wiped. Not a big deal for a number of dungeons, but ones that are in places like mazelike caves (such as Maraudon)?

Can anyone tell me why there is what looks like a Spirit Healer on top of one of the hills near Crossroads? I keep trying to find it and it is really starting to get on my ^&*!. Why is it there, and how can i find it?

The Spirit Healer northwest of the Crossroads is named Koiter.
It is named after Michel Koiter. He was an artist for Blizzard, but died during production of World of Warcraft. Blizzard placed the shrine, which has the letters MK on it, and the Spirit Healer there, as a memorial to him. Quite touching, actually.

heres how to accually make it to a spirt healer and kill her, first you have to make a new char, then get attuned with ony, (make sure you dont lvl up, you have to stay lvl 1) then once your ony attuned go into her lair and solo her, o and make sure your unarmed, once you do so, go outside and there will be a hostile spirt healer ( the one from the pic at the top ) its a ? boss, but it shouldnt be hard , i mean comeon your lvl 1, then once you kill it (unarmed btw) look it and lo and behold! 4 silver and some linen cloth!

If you turn the Music and Ambience volume all the way down, and turn the master and Sound volume all the way up, you can hear her talking (also stand close to her). I can't make it out, I played some of it backwards... and still can't make it out. Is it Latin? It could maybe also some other langauge... or just nothing at all. Just something interesting.

A spirit healer can be killed lol! Just try cone of cold with a mage or hellfire with a warlock...and many more. It drops only a few silver. ;)

Just confirmed that you cannot die and then run to another Spirit Healer as it will warp you back to the one you originally were sent to.

However, when you are in a new zone, you will be sent to the closest Spirit Healer even if you've not been to them prior. This is a great way to save some time when running level 1 toons to new zones (since there's no rez sickness at level 1).

Don't be silly like me and forget to pick up flight paths as you go!
