Can anyone actually say they've seen someone with this ring? This is the only item from ZF that Atlas Loot cant recognize. From my experience if I cant query it then either the item no longer exsists or simply no one on the server has looted it yet. Judging by the amount of items that have been removed from the game I wonder if this was one of those that Blizz took out.

This is to my knowledge still very much in game however it is the single rarest item in the game due to one little detail. What basically happened is that this ring was added to Zul'Farrak as an area drop blue BoE from any mob in the instance with a regular world rare item droprate, i.e. very rare but you can sell it at the AH, just like any other blue. So far so good but with the item level as high as it is the only mobs capable of actually dropping it are Chief Ukorz Sandscalp and Antu'sul. So in essence you are looking at an item with the same droprate of a world drop blue from any mob, and you dont get many of those do you, coupled with the fact that it can only drop, along with all other world drop blues in that level range of course, from two mobs in the entire game, and bosses at that. Hence this item is ludicrously rare and I have only ever seen one on the auction house going for a ridiculous amount of money.

And now the ring is generally pointless to get now that you can get "Of the sorcerer" from random dungeons. you'll end up with more spellpower too, but if you reeeeeeeeeeeeally want that extra bit of stam.... well, happy farming. chances are if you farm 5 times every hour on the hour, you'll see maybe 1 in 6 months.

All of it's variants are dropped by Antu'sul and Shadowpriest Sezz'ziz, albeit extremely rarely.

Variants are of Stamina, of the Eagle, of the Whale, of Intellect, of the Owl, of Spirit, and of Concentration.

oh right, the one i want has to be obnoxiously overpriced.

Why is everybody smart enough to make an account and log in to comment, but your still not smart enough to read a lil bit and always have to pull the "where does this drop" on a boe. Its even betetr when you ask that on a world boe.

I think the reason this and Spellshock Leggings are so insanely rare is not really intentional. It's a consequence of their high level 45 req, higher than other blues. Blues are already insanely rare, but these can probably only be dropped by level 47 and up within ZF. There's only like 5 different such mobs, and that's why everyone says they only drop from those bosses. I assume blues drop about once every 800 kills, that would be one blue from these mobs every ~150 runs, and they could also drop the other lower level blues.
