Yes, I am very pleased to have this added. Being Exalted with all the factions, I sometimes think of myself as an Undead Ambassador to Thrall, Cairne, and Lor'themar. Now I get a title to even further my role-playing!

Now, to get Diplomat :D

*Also, they should let key players on the Servers be the 'Magistrate' of certain cities.... I can imagine it now, Wardoom, Magistrate of Brill....

PROTIP: Doing a quest for a Horde faction member yields whatever normal amount of rep for that faction PLUS 25% of that number for the other four Horde factions.

So doing a quest that rewards 500 Org rep will also give you 125 rep with Silvermoon City, Thunder Bluff, Undercity, and Darkspear Trolls.

So even if you're already exalted with Orgrimmar, don't be afraid to clean out all the starting quests in Durotar. You will still get good rep for it.

Let me also recommend the QuestHelper addon. It simplifies the process tremendously.

Doing blood turn ins for this quest https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=7385 in Alterac Valley battleground yields 19 rep with each faction (though only one faction is displayed in the chat text, you get rep with all of them). I found this way to be more pleasant and faster than Runecloth. If you despise PvP, you will probably prefer the Runecloth method.

Easiest way is to do AV turn ins, you get rep with all factions.

Let it be known you can do starter quests for rep, I.E Valley of Trials, and just do any quests you can find that you may have missed, like Thousand Needles quests.

Another really easy way is to do AV. If you collect the blood and armor scraps from the fallen alliance members you can turn them in for some easy rep. You get 75 rep with every 5 blood turn ins and 20 rep with every 20 armor scraps turn ins. If you are already exalted with org then you will get about 19-20 rep for 5 blood turn ins. with all the other factions and about 3-4 rep per 20 armor scraps. Hope this helps and good luck.

Happy to say I managed this at lvl 39 yay me XD The most difficult race for me to find rep quests for was by far the trolls. After leaving durotar and the barrens there just weren't that many , and no Revantusk Village gives no rep with Darkspear Trolls.. found this out the hard way =/ There are , however, a few in Desolace. Happy Hunting XD

I have to say that Alterac Valley is the best way, it worked for me! Just do as many of the turn in quests as you can and i'tll give you the rep points with the cities you need and saves you from the boring runecloth quests......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz LOL :D Good Luck to you in this endevor :D

If you plan on doing the Loremaster achievements, you'll definitely get this title along the way. Just finished Loremaster of the Eastern Kingdoms, and already got this title. Only had to give cloth to Silvermoon, for the reasons mentioned above.

How to get this :

1. Get level 80, at this point you have alot of rep with all city fac already.

2. Go Mulgore, go to start camp for tauren then to level 6-10 camp for Thunder Bluff rep

3. Do same thing for Durotar. You can go barrens if you lack some rep.

4. Tirisfal Glades. Deathknell then to brill . if you still need some rep go to Silverpine Forrest

5. Silvermoon. Every quest in Eversong Woods + Ghostlands will give you exlated for sure.

I did this and got my Ambassador title after 1 days.

From personal experience, buying cloth is a waste. It certainly saves a lot of time but, it will cost you quite a lot depending on your server. All I can say if QUEST. Start in the lowbie zones and work your way through each races primary zones (Tirisfal, Eversong, Durotar, and Mulgore) - after that, I suggest heading to the Barrens - the quests there are varied and there are many. Every home city quest gives reputation with all the cities so, just do those. Not only this, but you can easily get the Loremaster AND the Seeker acheivement (3000 quests) achievement by doing this. I've obtained all 3 achievements and never spent a penny on cloth and I didn't do a single turn in with the cloth I had from drops either - all I've done is quest.

This is all under the assumption you're 80. Trying this method anytime else will be pure fail. Doing this so late will reduce the required reputation needed. I was exalted with all home cities when I started so, it pays to wait.

Lunar festival can help a lot to get the Ambassador title. Every Elder you visit will give you +75 rep with all the Horde fractions. It means a lot of traveling, but it's totally worth it if you really wanna be the Ambassador of the Horde.

Yep, the Lunar Festival is great for this. If you're getting either Loremaster, or 3000 quests done, you have to achieve this. Purely on non-dailies i've finished 4/5 and Silvermoon is very close to complete now. This will be my first title and it's a pretty cool one.

A good start on Loremaster and Seeker if you get this achievement done, and to top it off it close to guarantees Leading the Cavalry. Exalted with all 5 factions is 29 mounts total. 4 birds with one stone =)

Folks, if you rolled your char way back in the beginning of Vanilla AND did a lot of lowbie quests back then already. You HAVE to buy a lot of Runecloth. Back then it gave almost no reputation at all. I've done a lot of quest, yet I'm still Honored with Undercity. Maybe I'm lucky and I still have the quest around Undercity, I'm not sure. But I had did do all the TB quests once. I'm now Exalted with SM, TB and the Trolls, but still need a lot from UC and Ogri (and I'm an Orc... go fig...).

So yes, it is easy to get this title.. IF you started in TBC or WotLK. Not if you started in Vanilla, and got bored enough to do the starter quests back then.

A quick note about earning faction rep:

Level 1-5 quests DO give reputation, but there is NO spillover beyond the main faction city.

Save these quests for last--only if you need them to finish off a faction to exalted (or Loremaster). To maximize spillover rep rewarded, start with your lowest faction rep and do the level 6+ quest areas as noted in a post above.

Silvermoon City rep can be difficult for non-Blood Elves and especially difficult if you leveled pre-TBC. I found myself several thousand rep short of Exalted even after finishing Eversong Woods and The Ghostlands areas. At this point, you have a couple options:

1. Runecloth turn-in. This can be expensive if you need thousands of rep, depending on your server. At 5g per Runecloth stack, you're paying 67g per 1000 rep and at 3g per stack you pay 40g per 1000 rep. Runecloth listings on the AH may be limited though, so once you buy the reasonably priced ones you'll either need to wait until more come up or farm your own. Also, keep in mind that cloth turn-ins do not award spillover rep.

2. AV turn-ins. This can be quick or slow, depending on your server/queue times/etc, but each battle can yield a decent amount of rep if you make it your focus to loot and head back to base (probably around ~500 rep per battle is reasonable to expect). Do this quest to get your Frostwolf Insignia Rank 1 which you can use to hearth back to base from the front lines.

3. Faction spillover or single BE questgivers. This will probably take more time than either of the above options and is mostly recommended if attempting Loremaster or Seeker titles. Faction spillover will help, but gains are slow. Silvermoon City questgivers are sparse after level 20 and it will take a lot of your time to go searching for each one. Some old level 60 end-game quests give 500 rep with all of the capital cities, but these will require you to do some old instances (time-consuming but easily soloable at 80).

4. The Argent Tournament (patch 3.1). You can purchase rep with each faction by turning in Seals awarded in the quests.

I'm going under the assumption this will get fixed soon. If you are going for the ambassador title, I suggest you hurry. If you don't turn in the valiant seal quest (25 seals), you can keep doing the other 4 daily quests for that faction. Might help if you are running a little thin on one of the factions.

Hand in Runecloth and go Argent Tournament for quick rep, and if you can't afford the Runecloth and you're not lvl 80 then go do quests (On a Blood Elf DK at 61 having handed in no Runecloth I'm 2554/21000 in Revered and I've got loads of Ghostlands/Hillsbrad/Ashenvale/Stonetalon quests left if I want to get more rep that way)

This Achievement is so much easier to get while being 80 its awesome, still a pain to go back and do every quest you didn't bother to do while you we're leveling QQ

This achievement is a joke now, everyone will have Ambassador by the end of a month of just doing those dailies and turning in writs. I have it now and I'm not even totally Championed yet, still have Darkspear and Undercity to go. I just went and did the starter zone quests so I could get it quicker. I applaud the people though, like a few I know, who got it before 3.1, who actually had to farm tons of Runecloth and turn it in.

This Achievement isn't a joke. For someone like me, whos only toon is lv 56 and Iam exhalted with everyone *except* Silvermoon City (Troll Priest) I Find its quite an Acomplishment. I enjoyed Doing every quest I could get my hands on, and I Found myself Knowing a lot more about the lore than I Previously had. (Thats after leveling 3 70s on different Servers as fast As I could)

Iam working on the Silvermoon Rep right now, and Im finding it hard... The Quests in the Ghostlands dont give much, if any Rep for SMC. So im depending on Spillover Rep to Get me the Rest of the way.

Its made the game more fun for me, And I Recommend it to anyone who doesnt Need to be 80 in a month. ^_^ Go for Lore master while you're at it.

Heh, i hit exaltedx5/ambassador with a dranei hunter at 71 with only one days of work, i just wanted the mechanostrider mount.
So now, to get me a little more of a chalenge i'm working on my troll DK to get the title, just because i figured they're the ones with least rep to start with nowadays. :)

I'm not sure what you guys that were saying, oh yes, questing in ghostlands is autowin.... I took the time to look through all of the quests in ghostlands on wowhead, and all of them said tranquillen rep only.
