The new tier 3 sets have a nice 25% reduction to attack speed when your pet dies. If it stacks with above...

Its 25%, 30%, 30% and 40% reduction to ranged weapon speed. Oh and add the ammo slots reduction to that ;)

Thats pretty fast imo..

Total - 118% for 10 seconds

With Soulsting (2.9 Speed) I calculate you'll have 0.723 Attack Speed. At that speed its DPS would be adjusted to 200.

This should be used for boss fights and when you are PVP'ing with another hunter and you are having a shoot out with them this will change the outcome.

Well, aaaaarrrgghh, if u wished to comment shammysFTW's calculations he was actually completely right. I'll show u:

serptent's swiftness talent:+20% speed(permanent)
new Imp hawk proc:+15% speed(8sec)
This skill: +40% speed(15 sec)
Berserking racial: +10-30% speed(20 sec)
AV Quiver/Bullet bag: +15%(permanent)
Kiss of the spider trinket:+20%(20 sec)

Well, all those things combined with that bow with 3,2 attack speed will be calculated like this:

3,2 * 0,8 * 0,85 * 0,6 * 0,7 * 0,85 * 0,8 =
What's that number? Well its about 0,61s...
So shammysFTW's calculations were completely true.

That's some insane fast-shooting there!
And if you have that talent Beast Within or whatever its called, u also deal 30% more damage...

Oh, what the heck, I'll just go ahead and correct the numbers from this post as well:

about 1,09s - 0,92s attack speed.

What happened to all those new comments? Well, well, I'll post one of my "new" ones again:

Ok, here's 4 buffs; 2 positive and 2 negative.
Each buff has a different description and therefor also a different calculation:

POSITIVE BUFF 1
Increases attack speed by Y%.
Weapon Speed = X
IAS = Y
X / (1+) = New Weapon Speed

X = 2,0s
Y = 100%
NWS = 1,0s

-------------------------------------
NEGATIVE BUFF 1
Decreases attack speed by Y%.
Weapon Speed = X
DAS = Y
X / (1-) = New Weapon Speed

X = 2,0s
Y = 50%
NWS = 4,0s

-------------------------------------
POSITIVE BUFF 2
Decreases time between attacks by Y%
Weapon Speed = X
DTBA = Y
X * (1-) = New Weapon Speed

X = 2,0s
Y = 50%
NWS = 1,0s

-------------------------------------
NEGATIVE BUFF 2
Increases time between attacks by Y%
Weapon Speed = X
ITBA = Y
X * (1+) = New Weapon Speed

X = 2,0s
Y = 100%
NWS = 4,0s

Positive buff 2 and Negative buff 1 can't have a percentage over 100%, cuz that would cause u to have more than 0/unlimited attack speed.
On the other hand, Positive buff 1 and Negative buff 2 has no limit of high the percentage can be, it doesn't matter. (Try urself if u don't believe me)
From now and forth, blizzard's only using descriptions similar to PB1 and NB2. Bcuz of that a 30% positive and a 30% negative means that ur down to no change at all.

I found the bow hurricane yesterday so i tried to see how fast my bow goes. so i tested it on a warrior. Quick shots+rapid fire+trinket+quiver+ all those other stuff i cant remeber.

And when i was shooting with all this stuff my bow turned into a machine gun. It was freakin tight. The warriors like wtf and started hating off my bow. but u get a bow that is like 2.90 or higher and use all that stuff u will bring in a lot of dps with some power :P

Get the fastest bow/crossbow/gun you can. Get down to 1 health in a duel then reduel. Cast rapid fire, berserking, ammo pouch (15%), get the improved aspect of the hawk, have a shammy use bloodlust or heroism. so 15+15+30+40+30= 130% attack speed. Would that work?

Guys what if you wnet a troll hunter and used Berserking and this at same time and imagine if the hunter was BM and triggererd the first talents of increased range speed of 30%.

Berserkering + Rapid Fire + Talent
30% + 40% = 30%
100% attack spped increase. NICEEE :)

Try threading specials with something that fast. It's a waste unless you have 3-3.5+ bow and even then. Trigger them after each other and keep up the +30-40% attack speed for 25seconds instead?

I wouldn't waste all my + attack speed cds all at once unless you have some serious + ap triggers to stack with it(orc racial, + ap use on a trinket, expose weakness, etc.) My reason being since the % bonuses don't stack directly I believe the math for it is somewhat like this:

say you have a 10 second speed weapon and it gets increased by 50%

10 * .5 = 5

now say you have it increased by another 50 %

5 * .5 = 2.5

so your total speed increase is 75% not 100%

So in conclusion the best football team is the Packers.

My level 29 tauren hunters DPS is around 30*.

With the aspect of the hawk proc...my DPS is around 40*.

With this spell AND the aspect of the hawk procs, my DPS is around 70*.

It's simple.
More speed means more DPS.

Increasing the speed of a ranged hunter weapon increases it's damage. I'm sure all the numbers impress you theory crafters out there... I would be impressed if more of the calculations were correct >.<

*numbers are there simply to display a simple valid point.

If you want to cast Slice and Dice, you have to have a combo point. Or more. It's much better, if you have more, so you will have at least 3-4 cp-s, when you cast it. And you have to fight for these.
But the Rapid Fire ability is castable out of combat, before you attack anyone.

if you align this with Quick Shots which is proc of Improved Aspect of the Hawk you can get some pretty fast shots, tested and got like around 1 second aimed shot draws and other things.

Combine that to some trinket effects and you make great damage.
