To clarify, it seems you can place the feast anywhere in the battleground, not just in the starting area.

Currently bugged? I've presented a great (gigantic) feast in 2 battlegroups and I'm not receiving credit for them.

Just letting people know, if you join a battleground that's half-way through it will not mark off in your achievement menu that you have place the Great Feast until after the battleground has ended. I got scared that it was bugged when I placed it and nothing happened immediately, it all tallies off when you finish the BG though.

I can confirm what Twigz said. It's likely you won't get credit when you place the feast, but sure enough it will after the BG has ended.

To get this achievement easy, first go to any cooking trainer in Northrend to learn Great Feast (will show up as Feast in your cooking log) once you have a cooking level of 375.

Then go to any major city and queue for Strand of the Ancients, Eye of the Storm, Alterac Valley, Arathi Basin, and Warsong Gulch. Once any of the 5 battlegrounds pop up, enter the battle and lay a Great Feast and wait for the other battlegrounds to pop up. Do not leave a battleground as you will get the Deserter debuff if you do. repeat this for every battleground until you get the achievement.

Raw Materials for the 5 Great Feasts you need.
Chunk o' Mammoth x 5
Shoveltusk Flank x 5
Worm Meat x 5
Chilled Meat x 20

Despite being referred to as a "great feast" in its tooltip, the Small Feast does NOT work for this achievement. Presumably, neither does Gigantic Feast.

If someone else already made an great feast in the same BG as your inn you still get credit.

I was able to get credit instant even midt-terms of an BG-

May have already been mentioned, but you can only achieve this achievement by putting out the "Feast" plates.

Ignore putting out Gigantic Feast or Small Feast despite what the tool tip may tell you about them being great feasts. So before you go making a bunch of Gigantic feasts thinking they'll work, stick with leveling off of the normal Feasts.

Can anyone confirm whether the Fish Feast coming up in the next patch will work for this as well or will it follow a similar trend? It's tool tip also refers to it as a "great feast".

Doing this achievement now, and I see in the tracking that the BG is tagged correctly _immediately_ after placing the meal - meaning that it's possible to join in the middle of the BG and you don't have to stay until the end.

With the recent patch, the name of the item you must cook and lay out in the battlegrounds has changed from "Feast" to "Great Feast" in your cooking book to avoid any confusion.

I have done three of the five battle grounds for this achievment and I got a -0 Sec in red above the achievment tracker. Does anyone know what this means?

I can confirm that Fish Feast does NOT count towards this achievment.
