Auchenai Key- Unlocks Heroics for all Auchindoun Instances- Sold by Nakodu, Must have Lower City reputation of Honored or higher.

Cresent Key- This key unlocks the doors to Dire Maul North and West- Dropped by Pusillin (Dire Maul East).

Key of Time- Unlocks Heroics for all Caverns of Time Instances- Sold by Alurmi, Must have Keepers of Time reputation or honored or higher.

Key to the City- This key allows entry to most of the gates within Stratholme- Dropped by Magistrate Barthilas (Stratholme).

Shadow Labyrinth Key- This key allows entry into Shadow Labyrinth- Dropped by Talon King Ikiss (Sethekk Halls).

Shadowforge Key- This key will allow you access to the entirety of the Blackrock Depth instance- Quest Reward from Dark Iron Legacy.

Shattered Halls Key- Allows acess to Shattered Halls Instances- Quest reward from: Horde-Hotter than Hell Alliance- Hotter than Hell.

The Scarlet Key- Opens 2 of the 4 Scarlet Monestary instance wings (Armory/Cathedral) as well as the Scarlet Keep in Stratholme- Looted from a chest at the end of Scarlet Monestary- Library.

Skeleton Key- Allows acess into Scholomance Instance- Quest reward from: Horde- The Key to Scholomance Alliance- The Key to Scholomance.

Workshop Key- This key allows you to get into the back door of Gnomeregan- Dropped by Electrocutioner 6000 (Gnomeregan).

Wonder why they didn't include the karazhan key in this. Would have made this achievement... "more exclusive", atleast against the newly turned 70:s.

I agree that the Karazhan key should be included as it seems silly that the Key Master doesn't require The Master's Key.

Every well-traveled old adventurer should already have all of these. Free achievement points on a pre-TBC character, but quite a lot of work otherwise. The keys to Dire Maul, Scholomance, and Stratholme aren't likely to be in any post-TBC characters' key rings.

It's just a shame that the UBRS 'key' isn't included.

It's important to note that this ONLY works for pets/tabards/keys that cannot be obtained again by the player. This means that if a pet was a rare drop and you deleted it, you'll need to farm for it again.

There is a limit of 30 slots in the keyring. So if you do run out of space, throw away those useless Coilskar Chest Keys or Veil Skith Prison Keys.

Getting the old world keys would be easy at 70, let alone 80. I already had most keys on my main at 60, though. I know I went back with a few toons to get the Seal of Ascension, too. That thing was such a bitch to get in the old game -- I didn't even manage to get more than one gem on my main.

Lies. I have 31 keys in my ring.

There might be a limit, but it's not 30.

LE: I have tested and the limit is at 32 keys. If you have more they will be looted in your normal bags.

There is in fact a limit of 32 keys in the keyring. A GM confirmed this when I told him my keyring wouldn't grow any more.

All the keys for this achievement are available to you before the expansion except The Violet Hold Key.

As a 70 prot warrior I was able to solo get all the keys need from the level 60 stuff in less than an hour. Easy points right here once you get in the Violet Hold.

Just wanna say its possibel for an welgeared Feral druid to solo an Felreaver. Got 18k hp unbuffed in bearform and lost about 10k hp by the time he was down.. If you cant get help w/e :)

Just keep lacerate FF and demo roar. And pop beserker rigth when you pull (it will be ready before figth is over useally when hes down on 5-15k hp left).

Just had to solo Sethekk Halls to get the Shadow Lab key to finish this achievement. As an 80 Holy Priest, the interesting thing was that Talon King Ikiss was far, far easier than most of the trash pulls in the instance - doesn't do much damage and his explosion gives you oodles of time to heal up and have your shield cooldown expire. Trying to pick the right mobs to mind control and shackle on some of the 4-5 mob pulls that couldn't be avoided was quite a challenge. Ate a few deaths in the process, although never without killing at least 1 mob and making the pull easy when I came back.

Quick Note...

If you're Hated with Gadgetzan. From example, Bloodsail Buccaneers reputation grinding in Booty Bay. You will not be able to finish the Mold Rhymes With... quest, this is apart of the Scholomance quest line to get the Skeleton Key.

Violet Hold key shouldnt even be a part of this list seeing as how you talk to the npc and he hands it to you..lame...but yea agreed on the Masters Key

Got the Violet Hold key last night to finish the achievement. It is very satisfying from the standpoint that not many others in my guild have or even know about this. Of course, now they all want to get it now that they saw me hit it(copycats).

At any rate, my obsession with keys has paid off again. The Master's Key is a nice addition to the collection as well.

Can't link outside the /script macro that WoWhead gives? I had that problem. I wanted to make a macro that linked it but it kept crashing on me. So after a few hours of research I discovered how to forge an achievement.

This forum post goes over the basics of forging achievements so it looks like you completed it even if you didn't! Page 1 & 7 have posts that go over it more throughly and explain some of the dynamics. I will sum them up in this post for those of you who happen to be lazy ;)

Step 1: Gather GUID. Each character has a unique ID. /script ChatFrame1:AddMessage(UnitGUID("PLAYER")) This macro will let you see yours. There will be an 0x at the beginning. Take note of everything after that. You'll need it later.

WARNING: THE MACRO'S BELOW WILL MAKE YOU D/C. YOU HAVE TO CHANGE GUID.

Step 2: Take achievement you want to forge. For this example we will use The Keymaster /script ChatFrame1:AddMessage("\124cffffff00\124Hachievement:1187:"..UnitGUID("player")..":0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0\124h\124h\124r")

\124cffffff00\124Hachievement:1187:"..UnitGUID("player")..":0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0\124h\124h\124r

^ This Is the all important achievement link. We will be modifying this to look something like this:

\124cffffff00\124Hachievement:1187:05000000020F7F2B:1:1:08:9:4294967295:0:0:0\124h\124h\124r")

The 05000000020F7F2B is my GUID. The 1 after that makes the achievement say it's been completed. The next 1 stands for month, 08 for day, and 9 for year. 4294967295 fills in all the requirements and turns them green. The 0's following do the same thing.

You can put it back into your script:
/script ChatFrame1:AddMessage("\124cffffff00\124Hachievement:1187:05000000020F7F2B:1:1:08:9:4294967295:0:0:0\124h\124h\124r")

You are now done! Have fun fooling your friends into thinking you got achievements like Scarab Lord

I have just come back after a 18 months brake from wow and this one i dont get. all the keys i have gotten now is counted but the ones i already have does not. do i need to delete the keys and buy new ones?
